Childhood is an exciting, vibrant time at First Presbyterian Church! We believe that the church should be a nurturing place where children experience the love of God. Children learn what an important part of the faith community they are by taking part in Bible study, worship, fellowship, music and art, and recreation.
FAMILY FAITH FORMATION
Family Faith Formation is an opportunity for continued faith conversations and connection with each other to be community, learn and grow together during this time we cannot safely be together. Families with children birth-fifth grade will receive materials and resources to engage in one faith conversation each week. This program has two parts. The first part is providing families with a family-based curriculum that includes a different focus each month (for example: stewardship, gratitude, etc..). The second part to the program is providing children’s families with a Family Partner. A Family Partner is a member of the church that has committed to delivering supplies to their assigned families, being prayer partners and encouragers. We hope that as these two parts of the program come together, they provide a way for families to continue to talk about their faith at home while also providing a connection to other members of the church.
