Visitors are welcome to participate in all activites at First Presbyterian. If you would like to speak to a pastor, or need more information, please contact the Rev. Dr. Michael Waschevski at the church, 817-335-1231.

Throughout the year, we offer many opportunities for visitors, new members, regular church members and church staff to get acquainted. Visitor's Dinners and Mixers for new members are held several times each year. Attendants at these can expect to enjoy fellowship, good food, and good conversation with other church members and pastors.

Visitor Dinners

There are also regularly scheduled dinners throughout the year to gather together people who have been visiting the church for a time of fellowship over dinner. Members of the Evangelism Committee and several of the pastors host a delicious dinner and offer time for you to ask any questions you may have about the life of the church.

Becoming a Member

We receive individuals into membership every Sunday morning following our services of worship. Immediately following worship, a group of elders and pastors meet in the front of the Sanctuary where we joyfully welcome members by transfer of membership from another congregation, by reaffirmation of faith in Jesus Christ, or by profession of faith and baptism. If you are considering membership and would like a pastor to call you, please contact the Rev. Dr. Michael Waschevski.
