Josh Stewart, Associate Pastor

Joshua Stewart, Associate Pastor for Youth, enjoys echoing these faithful words from the 116th Psalm to youth of all ages.

He is passionately involved in our confirmation class and regularly participates in worship.

"My passion is communicating the gospel to youth," says Josh. "Seeing as we are all ministers and witnesses of Christ's love, I am just one of many who are called to testify to the gospel of the grace of God."

Joshua is a graduate of Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas, where he studied English and art. He has a Master of Divinity from Princeton Theological Seminary.

Josh has served in various youth ministry opportunities including his time at Kirkpatrick Memorial Presbyterian Church in Ringoes, N.J. as a youth minister/seminary intern. He also served on the summer staff of Camp John Marc (Meridian, Texas), a camp for children with chronic illnesses, for four summers.

In 2005, Josh was ordained in his home church in Abilene and installed as our Associate Pastor.

Pottery, the out-of-doors, art, Bob Dylan and coffee are some of his hobbies and interests.
