Stephen Ministry
Are you going through a divorce, or are you struggling with the anxiety surrounding unemployment issues? Are you or someone you love living with chronic pain or chronic illness? Are you grieving an empty nest, dealing with end of life issues, or mourning the death of a loved one?
One of the best ways to tell that our congregation cares is our 25 year commitment to Stephen Ministry, an important way that we express God’s love to those around us. “Care givers not cure givers,” Stephen Ministers listen, support, encourage, and pray with and for their care receivers. They do not counsel or give advice or try to fix. They walk with their care receivers in a ministry of accompaniment.
