The First Presbyterian Childcare Center
FPC offers quality childcare for church members and Day School families throughout the week. The staff of the Childcare Center provide professional, loving nurture to our infants, toddlers, and children. Registration forms and required health/immunization information must be on file.
Because we believe that each child is a child of God, we provide a climate in which each child can experience blessings daily and develop a self concept based on trust in God and others. We provide an atmosphere of love, understanding, and respect for the uniqueness of each child. Although infants and young children need to first experience a community in which they are nurtured by loving adults, they can begin very early to be aware of others and engage in positive social relationships with peers and adults.
During the week, in the evening, the Childcare Center offers free childcare by prior reservation to members and visitors participating in programs and activities at the church.

Hours and Cost
Enrollment and Registration
Childcare is first-come, first-served by reservation only.
Reservations are opened for the following month on the last week of each month (e.g.: reservations for May open during the last week of April)
Every child must have a completed Childcare Center Enrollment form and an Emergency Medical Authorization form on file in the Childcare Center before you may start using the Center.
If your child receives an exam or shots during the enrollment year, the updated information must be in the child’s file in the Childcare Center.
Fees and Hours of Operation
The annual registration fee is as follows:
August 1–December 31: $40
January 1–May 31: $40
June 1–July 31: $40
This fee will be applied to your first bill each period. You will be billed at the end of the month for childcare hours used that month.
Effective September 1, 2011, the Children’s Christian Nurture Committee has changed the cost and hours at the First Presbyterian Church Childcare Center. From that date forward:
• The center will open at 8:30 a.m. instead of 8:45.
• Parents will be billed by blocks, regardless of the amount of time children are in the center within those blocks. The new fee schedule is:
8:30-9:30 a.m.: $5
9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.: $15
12:30-3 p.m.: $12.50
2-3 p.m. (Bridge aftercare): $5
• A late pick-up penalty will be instituted. After a five-minute grace period (according to the swipe clock) a $1 per minute charge will be incurred.
• At 12:30 and 3 p.m., any children whose parents are late picking them up will be brought to the Day School office.

Tuition must be postmarked by the 10th day of each month or a $25 late fee will be added to your monthly statement. All bills must be kept current. Failure to maintain current status may result in a suspension from the Childcare Center until the bill is paid in full.
Children from 6 weeks through 6 years old may use the Childcare Center from 8:30 a.m.–3 p.m., 5 days a week. All children MUST have reservations to use the Childcare Center. Parents should sign up in advance on the reservation sheet outside the Childcare Center.
