Youth Music at First Presbyterian
IONA BRONZE is a handbell choir comprised of senior high students. Our middle school handbell 
choir is the TRINITY RINGERS. For the Spring of 2010, the two groups are combining into one group called FESTIVAL BELLS as they have been invited to perform in 
THE MESSENGERS is a choir of middle and high school singers. During the school year, the choir rehearses weekly and sings about once a month in a service of worship or concert.
This June, our youth choir and youth bells will participate in the 2010 Nation's Capital Festival of Youth Choirs. We are traveling to Washington D.C. to sing and ring in a concert at the most fabulous National Cathedral. The singers will be accompanied by a professional orchestra and the event has been proven to be mountaintop musical and spiritual experience. Our choir will be joined by other choirs from all over the country but we are the only handbell choir participating. The concert will be on held June 20.
