Fellowship is an important way that we share in being the body of Christ. Whether gathering for a meal, for recreation or entertainment, First Presbyterian Church encourages all people to gather with one another in Christian fellowship and friendship. The Fellowship Committee invites you, your family, and your friends to join us for any scheduled event. Childcare may be available for some events, by reservation. Meet new friends or fellowship with old ones! We look forward to seeing you! For more information please speak with the Rev. Robyn Michalove in the church office.
Church Picnic: Each spring the Fellowship Committee hosts the all-church picnic. We enjoy catered food, live entertainment (appearances by the infamous Trinity dancers!), an old-fashioned hymn sing, and a time to celebrate the Christian fellowship we enjoy with one another.

Dinners for 8: Dinners for 8 is a wonderful way to spend quality time with other members of the church. Those interested in eating dinner with other members of the church meet in groups of 8 over a six month period. We reshuffle the groups every six months so that we can meet new people for dinner.
Sports: In the past, we have enjoyed Rangers and CATS games together. We also organize softball team(s) in the spring for a church league. This is a good way to stay active and meet new friends in the church.
Other events: Some Fellowship events have become traditions (baseball games and picnics), but we also like to try new things. Over the last couple of years, we have enjoyed trips to the aquarium, to the Concerts in the Garden, to the Cowtown Marathon, dining at local restaurants, and hosting church-wide dances. We hope to host a church-wide retreat soon.
Beacons - (55 and up): The goal of the Beacons is to enrich the lives of mature Christians by fellowship, education and service. More than 150 members of the Church are active in this vital organization. Beacons enjoy monthly Potluck Suppers and Birthday Bashes, and several trips per year. If you are eligible, 55 years or older, you could benefit from the offerings of this active organization.
